Our History
Originating in Atlanta, GA in 1968, the Premier Dance Club was created to bring students across high schools in the area together. There are many traditions from the early days of PDC Dances that are still kept alive today. We hope you join us in celebrating this time-honored dinner dancing tradition!

Keeping Tradition Alive
Book of Etiquette
Upon attending their first PDC Dance, students are presented with a Book of Etiquette. This booklet was written on the social graces and provides students with etiquette expertise that the students can use when attending formal events for years to come.
Corsages & Boutonnieres
Corsages and boutonnieres are typically exchanged before the dance, usually at picture parties hosted by the parents.
Formal Photos
Photographers are present at each of the dances to take formal pictures. Those pictures are mailed to the young lady after the event.
Formal Invitation
Young ladies from select schools in the area are formally invited by the PDC Dance committee to attend this event. Once invited, young ladies will ask dates to accompany them and will be given a physical invitation to hand to their date.
Dinner & Dancing
The evening begins with dinner, followed by a evening of dancing with a popular band. There are both seated and buffet style dinners depending on the grade.
Semi- Formal Dress
The attire is semi formal. Young ladies typically wear long or short dresses. Young men wear a coat and tie.
